Platoon Guide

This sections covers the combat equipment and weapons for this role. It doesn't mention things like uniform as every trooper had the same basic uniform. So if portraying the above position you should have the following items :-

The Platoon Guide (PG), or sometimes called the Assistant Platoon Sgt, usually ranked as a Staff Sgt they prevented straggling and enforces order concerning cover, concealment and discipline. They are usually located in the rear of the platoon where he can observe the situation on the flanks and the rear. He is the person to check ammunition expenditure and should take every opportunity to see that it is replenished.
