Field Manuals

The US Government created a huge library of both Field Manuals (FMs) and Technical Manuals (TMs) during the war. These manuals covered everything that the army would ever need to teach anyone and were constant updated with small page additions to keep in the front and also new manuals to replacement the now out of date versions. The original FM/TMs are not exactly hard to find, although some of the rarer ones can be fairly expensive and then if you're a reenactor, taing these delicate items into the field in all weather conditions is not practical. So for the first time, I have started to reproduce these esspecially for the reenactor market. Starting with the two manuals associated with new recruits, ARMY LIFE 21-13 and FM 21-100 the Soldiers Handbook. Both teach everything you'll need to know as a new recruit. Learning the Army way, over the civilial way. A fantastic training resource that is full of great information for new reenactors, as well as a good 'go to' book even for those who have been reenacting for years. Another great advantage to having a reproduction copy over and original, besides not having to be over protective is that you can fill out the sections inside that are designed to have your information on them. Lots of soldiers also wrote there serial number and name on the cover.

.....to name just a few!

Of course none of this will be free, but as a reenactor myself, this is mainly about providing myself, my group and all other fellow reenactors with more of the tools we require to teach not only our troops, but inturn the public! To print all these roughly works out about the same cost, so I have said that 1 manual is £12 with free delivery in the UK, world wide postage is an extra £3. Of course, most people will want either multiples of the same manual for the troops in thier unit, or a mixture of manuals... ot both! So, the more you buy the more I can lower the price. As a quick guide.
1 manual £12
2x £20
3x £26
4x £34
5x £42
6x £48
10x £70
20x £120
For mulitple manuals, then shipping is worked out at cost. In the UK its never more than £10. Abroad various drastically. However, I shipped 16 books to Slovakia this morning for £19. So that gives you a little idea.

Should you want more, than 20 manuals then you'll have to have a conversation with me and we'll work something out! If you want to order a manual to be completed ahead of schedule, I can push it ahead of the others, but will want payment in advance for at least 6 copies, to put towards a brand new design and print run. Depending on how many you want, I may get the printing company to ship them directly to you.

TO ORDER - either use the CONTACT US tab at the top of the website, or find me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/dangermouse69div and have a chat over messenger. You'll also see all the updates as things are happening on my 'wall'.

Already I am editing the first couple of  manuals I printed. The colour of the covers was not to my liking, despite using a colour matching tool, it had a tinge of 'green' that I wasn't happy with. So the FM 21-100 and the 23-7 files are now edited to match this new colour of cover, which unless my printer has a strange colour setting on his printer, then it should matching mine a lot better than the old colour.

To give an idea of the possibilities to print, check this lot!

This is only a small part of what we do, a website is simply too small to handle everything. Facebook is where we started, nothing will ever beat its simplicity, powers of communication and ability to share photos, videos and knowledge, "come join us there too".
